1991-1995 W World War II Silver Dollar PF70 UC NGC Brown Label

Each of the three coins in this series is dated 1991-1995 and commemorates the 50th anniversary of U.S. involvement in World War II, which lasted from 1941 to 1945. Pieces were coined and issued in 1993. U.S. Mint sculptor-engraver Thomas D. Rogers Sr. designed the silver dollar showing as American soldier on the beach at Normandy. The reverse depicts the shoulder sleeve insignia of the Supreme Headquarters Allied Expeditionary Force, with a quotation from Dwight D Eisenhower.
